HAPPY NEW YEAR !

This is the year we'll accomplish great things! - but - God doesn' t necessarily call us to do great things. He asks that we be trustworthy in small things (Luke 16:10-11). He gives all of us gifts to use to build up the Body of Christ and to reach out to the lost.

Some of us have many gifts, some just a few. But we are ALL equipped to serve others. The start of a New Year offers an opportunity to use our gifts for God's Glory (it's always for Him) and the good of His people. God enables us to seek the lost, serve on committees and boards that do ministry work and provide financial support for His Kingdom here at Gloria-Dei and to teach and "tell" for the salvation of souls.

Go to your Pastor, elders or other church leaders and let them know you are available to use the gift(s) God has given you for His service.

Romans 12:6-8 " We have different gifts, according to the grace given us . If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage;if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully."

As we become better stewards of God's abundant GIFTS to us, it will truly be a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
